Words of Encouragement
How do we grow in our sense of peace
and hope today?Let us read Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.
Let us pray,
Thank You Lord for giving us your Holy Word so that today we can keep on enduring the struggles of this life. With it we can also grow in character and have the certain expectation of the eternal reward. And thank you for the hope, joy, and the peace that comes in knowing that through the continuing cleansing of Jesus' blood we are walking on the highway of holiness with Jesus Christ our Lord!
