And just why do you serve God? ... fear? ... sense of obligation? ... because your parents did? How about because of your faith in what God has done and will do for you? I believe that God sent his Son Jesus to die for our sins so we could be forgiven, cleansed, and adopted as his children and could share in his presence forever in heaven. What's more, he longs to share his blessings and to reward those who believe in his grace and love!
Let us read Hebrews 11:6.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Let us pray.
Dear Father, thank you for my faith and all those who helped me come to know you and your grace. Please bless me as I seek to share this faith with my family and friends. Thank you for the confidence that my life is secure in your love and victorious because of your power.
