Words of Encouragement

Freedom is a wonderful gift! Freedom in Christ is greater than any other kind of freedom. God gives it to us. But, we don't want to use our freedom to infringe on someone else's freedom. We don't want our liberty to cause others to sin or to lose sight of Christ. So let's use God's freedom wisely.
The Bible reading is from 1 Corinthians 10:23-24.
23 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.
24 Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well-being.Let us pray.
Precious God and Almighty Father, thank you for the very many gifts you have poured into our lives. We want to especially thank you for our spiritual freedom. Empower us to use it to bless others and build them up, rather than bringing glory to ourselves. Please help us see others as the place of your work in the world.
In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen.
