What are we thinking about today as we go about the tasks of this day?
Let us read Philippians 4:8-9 to give us direction for our thoughts.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you.Let us pray.
Father, be with us, so that no matter what is going on around us today we can be at peace with You. Be with us. Lord, by setting our inner thoughts on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, gracious, excellent, and worthy of praise; and that our thoughts be praising You for them all.
