Words of Encouragement

What do we focus on today? What are we really after in this life? Here Paul tells us what it should be!

Let us read Colossians 3:1-4.

 1 Therefore if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
  2 Set your mind on things above, not on things that are on earth.
  3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
  4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory.

Let us pray.

Father in heaven, help us keep our focus on doing the things that our Lord Jesus Christ would have us do for Him even while taking care of the necessary functions of this life, so that we can look forward to being with Him at the end of our lives here on earth.

In your Holy Son's name we pray.
