Words of Encouragement

Sometimes our prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling and fall to the floor. Other times, we are overcome with emotion and the words of our prayers can't capture what's in our hearts. Thank God for the assurance that the power of our prayers is not dependent upon our words, but upon his grace given us by the Holy Spirit's intercession!
The scripture reading today
is from Romans 8:26-27.26 Likewise the spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He Makes intersession for the saints according to the will of God.
Let us pray.
Holy God and Loving Father, thank you for giving us the gift of the Holy Spirit, through whom we have the ultimate assurance that you hear our words, our thoughts, and our heart when we pray.
