Words of Encouragement

Many of us have heard the old saying, "The proof of the pudding is in the eating." We can also say that the proof of biblical wisdom and understanding is in the living. To simply know the truth doesn't mean a whole lot if we don't do anything with that knowledge; to live the truth is everything.
Let us read from James 1:22.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding your own selves.
Let us Pray.
O LORD God, empower us with your Spirit as we seek to not only "practice what we preach," but also show our obedience to your will and live consistently with your character in our daily lives.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
