Words of Encouragement

God is love! God is also holy and righteous! If he did not lovingly and tenderly correct us, none of us could survive before his awesome perfection. Yet our God has chosen to give us his undeserved mercy and kindness as he corrects us and molds us to be more like him.

Let us read Jeremiah 10:24.

O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

Let us pray.

Holy and righteous Father, we truly do want to become more like you in our daily character; but please, dear Father, humble and correct us gently for you know how small we are compared to you.

In the name of our Savior, your Son Jesus, we pray.

Amen.
