Words of Encouragement

Sometimes what we need to do is very simple and plain, isn't it? We need to handle those around us justly -- practicing patience and dealing with others in fairness, without partiality. We need to practice mercy -- blessing others in need with what they don't deserve but so greatly need. We need to walk humbly with our Abba Father -- knowing that without his grace and help we will fail.
The Scripture reading today is from Micah 6:8.
8 He has shown you, O man,
what is good;
And what does the Lord
require of you
But to love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your
God?Let us pray.
Father, please make of us what you will. As you fashion us, please bless us as we seek to be people of justice, mercy, and humility.
In Jesus' name we pray.
