Of all the things Jesus was called, I believe that He would say His favorite was "The Friend of Sinners." Come to think of it, I believe it should be our favorite, too!
Let us read Luke 19:10.
For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
"Let us go to our heavenly Father in prayer."
Father, while we know you hate sin and the havoc it creates in our lives, we are so thankful that when you came to earth you were not our judge but our Savior, and friend. We promise to live today more aware of your love for the lost because we know what it means to be found.
Through Jesus our Lord, we pray.
