Words of Encouragement

Some things are just not very complicated. Living for Jesus can be broken down to two principles: love God with everything we are; and love and treat others like we would like to be treated. Not too hard to understand, but it's the living it that is the challenge!

The Scripture reading for today is Matthew 22:37-29

37 And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.'
38 "This is the great and foremost commandment.
39 "The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.'

Let us pray.

O Living and only True God. Please accept the work of our hands, the words of our mouth, the moments of our rest, and the love of our hearts as our worship to You this day. We pray that these are pleasing and refreshing to you.

In the name of your Sonwe pray.
