Words of Encouragement

God can be seen in our homes. What an incredible thought! The Father of the universe lives in our church building. The Almighty God's love is recognizable in our lives. How can this be? When we love those around us, when they love us back, when we choose to be loving instead of petty, unforgiving, critical, and harsh, God's presence, power, and perfection are revealed in us!
The scripture reading is from 1 John 4:12-13.
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.Let us go to God in prayer.
O Father, please make your presence, power, and perfection known through our love for your children and our love for each other, including even me.
In Jesus' name we humbly pray.
