Words of Encouragement

How can we be blessed by God to love life and see good days? Here inspired directions are given for this purpose!

The Scripture reading is from 1 Peter 3:10-12.

10 For "He who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
11 Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."

Let us pray.

Father in heaven, help us to guard our words so that we do not speak evil, and that we will turn away from it to do what is right! Be with us when we seek peace with all and pursue it diligently! We know, Lord, that you will watch over us, and hear our prayers, and for this we our thankful.

In the name of our Lord Jesus we pray.
