Now having heard the word of God, a person must believe both the word of God (the gospel) and that Jesus is the Son of God. We can find this in the book of Hebrews, chapter 11 & verse 6. "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."
